Margherita Ring | Antique Old Mine Diamond
The Margherita Ring is the solitaire of our dreams. At its center is a very special GIA certified 1.67 ct antique Old Mine cut diamond, with the high crown, broad facets and open culet that give this historical cut its unmistakable charm.
No two old miners are alike, each being cut by hand between two and three hundred years ago. We see the warmth and subtle asymmetry of antique stones not as flaws but as features—ones which add depth, softness, and serve as quiet reminders of the land they grew in and the hands that mined and cut them.
The double wire shank and elevated gold border mirror the softness of the diamonds pillowy outline, and give her a strong, elegant platform on which to rest. The overall silhouette offers that timeless solitaire appeal but with a substantial gold presence—because we want our rings to feel romantic and refined, but not like they’ll snap in half.
Four rounded corner bezels frame the stone with a soft, sculptural silhouette. Their whimsical shape—a touch floral—combines the protection of a bezel and the visual openness of prongs; smooth to the touch, with no sharp edges in sight. The diamond is set low to the finger for comfort, but just high enough to allow a wedding band to sit flush.
